Dr. Sankaran Krishnan

Overview

Dr. Krishnan is a globally respected pediatric pulmonologist serving as the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology, Allergy, Immunology, and Sleep Medicine at Boston Children’s Health Physicians and Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. He also leads the Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship Program and holds tenure as Professor of Pediatrics and Public Health at New York Medical College.
Dr. Krishnan brings a rare blend of academic rigor and community reach. His specialties span everything from asthma, bronchiolitis, and chronic lung disease of prematurity to cystic fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, sleep studies, and bronchoscopy. He serves as Advisor and Board Member for the New York State Department of Health Asthma Program (APNY) and is Faculty at the National Asthma Educator Institute of the American Lung Association. His leadership extends across multiple specialized programs, including the Severe Asthma Center, BPD and Neonatal followup Center, Pediatric Pulmonary Function Laboratories and Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia Center.
